An Employee Training Specialist - Manufacturing plays a vital role in equipping team members with the skills and knowledge necessary to support Jetway's production processes. This role involves hands-on training in live manufacturing environments, classroom instruction, and continuous professional development for both new hires and existing employees. By delivering clear guidance and practical demonstrations, trainers help uphold high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality across the production team.
In the first year, the trainer’s primary responsibilities include:
Conducting in-person training sessions for new employees.Developing engaging and informative training materials.Supporting the professional growth of current team members.Effectively balancing these responsibilities ensures employees are well-prepared to contribute to the success of the manufacturing process.

This relationship-driven approach not only improves the training experience but also strengthens workplace culture and contributes to overall organizational success.
YOUR IMPACT:
Training Delivery & Curriculum Development
Provide hands-on and classroom training on assembly/disassembly of Jetway products and use of applicable tools.Create and deliver live, written, and online training content.Design and develop training props to enhance learning.Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and build Training Task Analysis (TTA)/Job Breakdown Sheets.Develop training materials following the ADDIE instructional model.Train employees on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Syteline.Instruct team members on accessing and using technical documentation in TeamCenter or ERP systems.Design electrical training props for wiring applications per Jetway Electrical Standards.Develop a structured written curriculum for Jetway products.Coaching & Skill Development
Provide one-on-one coaching to ensure employees perform tasks safely and in compliance with safety and quality standards.Facilitate floor training on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and material handling assembly processes.Support employees in achieving proficiency with various Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), and become an approved trainer.Train and coach team members on industrial painting processes.Demonstrate the ability to accurately measure to 1/16” of an inch.Professional Growth & Adaptability
Commit to ongoing professional development, including attending off-site training in writing and content delivery.Obtain certifications as a CPR/AED/FA/BBP trainer.Work a flexible schedule to accommodate different shifts and training needs.Adapt to changing work schedules and pivot between different training disciplines seamlessly.Incorporate innovative training ideas to enhance engagement and learning effectiveness.Continuously improve by integrating coaching and trainee feedback into training methods.INTERVIEW REQUIRMENTS
Candidates must demonstrate their ability to train effectively by completing the following:

High School Diploma or its equivalent.One (1) year of experience in a related field.STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Manufacturing Experience: Five or more years in a manufacturing environment.Training & Leadership: Previous experience in a training, coaching, or lead role, including presenting to groups.Assembly & Electrical Skills: Hands-on experience with assembly, electrical systems, and wiring, particularly with Jetway products.Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with hand tools, battery-powered tools, and pneumatic tools.Industrial & Automotive Painting: Previous experience in industrial or automotive painting.Curriculum Development: Proven experience in designing and developing training materials.Software & Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Articulate).Experience working with 3D models.Knowledge of Jetway ERP System and TeamCenter.Plumbing Knowledge: Understanding of plumbing systems and related training needs.Adaptability & Multi-Disciplinary Training: Ability to seamlessly pivot between various training disciplines as needed.Pay Range:
$50,400.00 - $77,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
