Employee Relations Advisor
The role

The Employee Relations Advisor at Youfoodz is responsible for providing expert guidance on employee and industrial relations matters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves advising stakeholders on compliance with relevant legislation and regularly updating processes and policies to reflect best practices.

The Advisor facilitates effective communication between management and employees, addressing concerns and conflicts to promote a positive workplace culture. By fostering collaboration and providing resources, the Employee Relations Advisor helps cultivate an environment of fairness and respect, contributing to overall employee engagement and productivity.

You will…

Provide strong HR generalist advice on employee relations issues including performance management, grievances, investigations etc. in an accurate and timely manner Lead confidential investigations with fairness and integrity Ensure strong compliance with relevant legislation, governing industrial instruments, policies, and procedures Keep up to date with current legislation and advise the organisation on compliance and risk Engage with stakeholders on discussions around employee relations matters Work closely with the Payroll, Workforce Planning and Workplace Health and Safety teams on labour initiatives, process improvements, Award compliance and employee matters Ensure annualised salaries and wage arrangements remain compliant following Fair Work’s annual wage increase announcement and/or following any changes to rosters Identify and implement process and procedure improvements across the business as required Interact with Unions as required Engage with external providers to gain advice on ER/IR matters Facilitate training for managers and employees on HR practices, procedures, Awards, legislation, and other relevant areas as required Support with the roll out of HR initiatives across the business Any other duties as reasonably required or directed

You have…

At least 1-3 years’ experience in a generalist human resources or employee relations specialist role Previous experience in fast paced working environments Demonstrated experience with end to end investigation processes Proven ability providing strong ER/IR support and advice to managers

You are…

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal Strong analytical and problem solving ability Ability to partner with stakeholders Advanced MS Word and intermediate MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills High levels of resilience, professionalism and work ethic Approachable, energetic and flexible in approach
