Position Overview
We are looking for an ‘Employee Engagement & Onboarding Specialist’ is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing onboarding processes that foster a positive and engaging experience for new hires. This role ensures that new employees feel welcomed, supported, and fully integrated into the organization’s culture and values. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing employee retention, job satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding Program Development
Design and continuously improve onboarding programs to align with company culture, values, and business objectives. Develop and manage onboarding materials, including welcome kits, presentations, handbooks, and training schedules.New Hire Integration
Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period. Coordinate pre-boarding activities, including accommodation setup, flight bookings, and initial communications. Organize and facilitate orientation sessions, company tours, and introductions to teams.Employee Engagement
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding. Monitor and assess the onboarding experience through feedback surveys and direct communication with new hires. Develop initiatives that enhance engagement.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Partner with managers and team leaders to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into their teams. Coordinate with learning and development teams to ensure access to required training and resources. Act as a liaison between new hires and HR for any concerns or questions during the onboarding period.Cultural Advocacy
Promote company culture, values, and diversity and inclusion efforts through onboarding content and practices. Identify opportunities to strengthen new employees’ sense of belonging.Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to track and improve processes. Proficiency in MS Office Work independently, managing work schedule based on the needs of the position. Driving license Fluent in Greek, English and any Nordic language will be considered as an advantage
