Job Description
The Employee Benefits Specialist provides exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external clients. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate set-up, ongoing maintenance, and support of client accounts for Health & Benefits (H&B) and COBRA. The specialist maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the products and services supported by the agency, ensuring timely and accurate problem resolution to support client retention goals.
ResponsibilitiesInitiate timely set-up and process all documentation related to the setup and maintenance of client accounts.Research and resolve product and service issues from the field and clients, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and insurance transactions.Perform data input while maintaining strong prioritization and organizational skills and professional communications.Participate in product-related projects or training sessions, as required.Essential SkillsCustomer service in a business-to-business setting.Administration and benefits administration.Insurance verification and billing.Documentation control and data input.Payroll and benefits management.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Strong organizational skills and professional communication.Experience in benefits management preferred.Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and involves regular interaction with clients and team members. The role requires proficiency in using various technologies and systems for documentation and data input. The position may also involve participating in training sessions and projects related to product development.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
