GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Emergency Response Specialist is responsible for implementing and executing the emergency prevention, mitigation, preparation and response system established by the organization for the assigned site and support for remote sites.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency response areaMinimum education: Professional firefighter, Bachelor's degree in Civil Protection, Industrial Engineer or similar.Experience: Provide training, execute drills and review emergency response equipment, Identify fire risks and potential emergencies, Drive and operate emergency vehicles.Section
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
STPS regulations, Civil Protection, ISO 45001, NFPA.Handling of office and google suit (excel, power point, word, email).Functionality of mobile equipment and fixed fire fighting systems.Operation of fire pumps and emergency alarm systems.Development of the incident command system.Physical and mental fitness for emergency care.Effective oral and written communication.Self-directed, leadership, work with minimal supervision and execute work plans.Desirable to have DC-5 in: Use and handling of fire extinguishers, Search and rescue, Evacuation of buildings, Fire prevention, Use and handling of hazardous chemicals. DC-3 Rescue at heights, confined spaces.MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Update contingency plan and detailed report. Maintain compliance with the requirements applicable to emergency response (STPS, Civil Protection, Insurance). Review emergency response equipment according to assignment and planning. Conduct emergency risk prevention tours and follow up on detections. Monitor compliance in the SCFI and periodic tests Identify and follow up on the acquisition of required emergency equipment.Provide theoretical and practical training in emergency response according to the established plan Develop scheduled emergency drills Participate in applicable internal and external audits Attend to emergency situations presented according to protocols Operate and maintain emergency vehicles such as Fire Defender and Fire Extinguisher in correct conditions of use Develop ideas to improve the site performance in accordance with the established goal.Enforce BRP Quality and EHS policies.Follow BRP values and behaviors.ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY
