We are looking to add an Embedded Software Test Engineer to a long-term project engagement with a well-known industry leader in the Residential, Industrial, and Commercial climate control domain. This role will have a direct impact on the design and manufacturing of state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems for high-tech applications such as data centers and alternative energy production.

This group designs their own power electronics controls systems 100% in-house. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about system design and integration in a progressive environment where they can learn a lot of innovative technology solutions.

This role will be onsite at our customer facility in New Freedom, PA and will come with a comprehensive benefits package as well as PTO and Holidays

Duties

•\tIdentifies testable product requirements and develops test cases to validate interfaces, performance, and product features.

•\tDeveloping and maintaining test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and manual and automated scripts.

•\tExecuting manual and automated tests.

•\tIdentifying and documenting defects and questionable functions.

•\tParticipating in the development and peer reviews of software documentation.

•\tConfiguration management of test cases and results.

•\tCollaborates with the hardware and software teams to integrate and test products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Desired Skills/Experience

•\tBS Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.

•\tMust have experience as an individual contributor in embedded software development or embedded software testing.

•\tStrong experience with Python programming and test automation.

•\tExperience documenting and tracking issues and presenting findings to others.

•\tExperiencing troubleshooting software and communication with hardware interfaces.

•\tPreference to candidates with embedded software testing and HP/ALM experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00
