Embedded Software Engineer Job Description Seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to lead embedded firmware and IoT development efforts. In this role, you will be hands-on, taking responsibility for all aspects of the firmware development process including architecting, coding, debugging, as well as building and managing a team. Responsibilities + Architect, code, and debug embedded firmware. + Lead and manage a team of engineers. + Handle all aspects of the firmware development process. + Develop and maintain IoT solutions. + Configure boot loaders and software interfaces. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Embedded C, C/C++ programming. + Experience with ARM Cortex M0/M3/M4, STM32, and NXP LPC82x Series ARM microcontrollers. + Knowledge in configuring boot loaders and software interfaces. + Familiarity with embedded system design and development. + Hands-on experience with microcontroller peripherals including I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, and DAC. + Debugging skills using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Zigbee, BLE Mesh, LoRaWAN, and WiFi. + Knowledge of networking connectivity protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, MQTT, and AMQP.
