**Required Skills:**
Embedded DSP Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, integrate, optimize and debug real-time audio features on low-power wearable devices.
2. Build a community of researchers and developers by sharing software engineering best practices, tips and techniques.
3. Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural trade offs required to rapidly deliver software solutions.
4. Develop clean, readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, understand priorities and fulfill project needs efficiently.
5. Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of AR/VR problem solving.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
7. 5+ years of experience with embedded development and productization of Audio DSP and ML systems
8. 5+ years of programming experience in C++
9. Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions
10. Industry experience in any of the following areas: Tiny ML, Echo/Noise reduction, Hearing Aids, Spatial Processing

11. Interest in prototyping and implementing low level optimizations for embedded applications
12. End-to-end understanding of on-device audio systems and sensor input routing
13. Experience porting research code to performant/optimized C++ code
14. Experience with MATLAB, Max/MSP, Audioweaver, or similar prototyping platforms
15. Previous success in driving and executing on research initiatives from initial ideal to product tech-transfer
**Public Compensation:**
$70.67/hour to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
