Job Description An employer is seeking an Embedded Devices Automated Test Engineer to join their team in Austin, Tx area. He or she will be joining the Video Conferencing Engineering team specifically on their platform engineer team, to design and build automated testing environments to ensure high quality software on their embedded devices. The Test Engineer will build automated test infrastructure and solutions for audio and video conferencing devices using PyTest and with systems such as Jira and TestRail. He or she will be comfortable using Linux and Linux Shell, work with Jenkins pipelines and GitHub workflows and on integrations with J Unit and f Unit to help capture data. The ideal candidate will be highly versed in docker container creation an know how to create and deploy isolated test environments. Strong Python knowledge is essential to build fully automated test pipelines and release management processes. This role will be onsite in Round Rock, Tx area on a hybrid scheduled and the hourly pay will range from $50 - $75/hr depending on experience.
