**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience in Access NW - CMTS/CCAP/RPhy and DOCSIS technologies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced network solutions. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site during day shifts. Travel is not required. **Responsibilities** + Lead the design and implementation of advanced network solutions using Access NW + CMTS/CCAP/RPhy and DOCSIS technologies + Oversee the development and deployment of network architectures that meet the companys strategic objectives + Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of network systems + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT infrastructure components + Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency + Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations processes and procedures + Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network design and implementation + Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance network capabilities + Monitor network performance and implement improvements to optimize speed reliability and security + Provide training and support to junior engineers and other team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement + Participate in strategic planning sessions to align network initiatives with business goals + Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful completion of network-related projects + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on network status and project progress **Qualifications** + Possess a deep understanding of Access NW + CMTS/CCAP/RPhy and DOCSIS technologies + Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex network issues + Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams + Have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust network solutions + Show proficiency in network performance monitoring and optimization techniques + Display a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies **Certifications Required** Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification relevant to Access NW - CMTS/CCAP/RPhy and DOCSIS technologies. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $115K - $145K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
