Overview of the role

This person will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager and support two Associate Email Marketers in developing and executing email marketing campaigns to increase incremental profit for the Pottery Barn brand through online initiatives. 

This is a hybrid role - 4 days onsite 

Responsibilities

Participate in the planning and execution of dynamic and scheduled Batch & Blast emails and automated (Trigger) emails. Work closely with the Sr. Manager of E-marketing and the email team to support them in the execution of promotional and triggered email campaigns. Work cross-functionally with team members to ensure email content is accurate and aligns with site experience. Partner with CRM team to ensure seamless deployment and execution of B&B and Trigger emails, SMS, and Push notifications. Assist with cross channel marketing programs as needed. Analyze competitive marketplace and follow online advertising, email, and digital trends. Partner with cross functional partners to maintain the Creative Catalog for the Email Team  Assist with set up and presentations for Executive level weekly Creative review meetings. Keep all working documents up to date to ensure that all  content messaging is running accurately and timely. Partner with Assoc Manager, Site Merch and Coordinator to identify strongest shop paths and linking strategy. Misc reporting and measurement. Maintain accurate records and notes for email campaigns during milestone meetings. 

 

Criteria

B.A. in Marketing, Business or related field 1-2 years in Online Marketing, Retail, Database Marketing, or Online Media Planning Are experienced in working well cross-functionally Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and prioritize varying deliverables Are skilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (experience with Airtable and other project management tools a plus). Have strong communication and presentation skills Are experienced with web analytics systems, AI, and email service providers preferred Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $22.00-$29.00 per hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
