About the Role

As a key member of the Professional Global Marketing team, the Senior Email Marketing Specialist will lead the strategy, branding, communication, and execution of email marketing across all of Harman’s Professional brands, including JBL, Martin, AMX, and AKG. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, this role will work closely with the Global Marketing Communications and regional marketing teams to implement high-impact, cohesive email strategies that drive engagement, build brand affinity, and support global product launches and campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HubSpot and a curiosity about integrating emerging AI technologies to enhance our approach to email marketing.
 

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and optimize email marketing strategies across multiple brands and regions, ensuring consistent and impactful communication that aligns with Harman's position as a leader in Pro audio, video and lighting.

Drive the planning, creation, and deployment of targeted email campaigns, including template design, call-to-action elements, and relevant content. Provide guidance to regional teams for successful campaign implementation.

Oversee customer journeys through the HubSpot platform, delivering strategic and technical support to regional teams, addressing technical challenges, and driving platform improvements.

Develop customized brand journeys tailored to various email types, including New Product Announcements (NPIs), regional campaigns, social media promotions, blog content, subscriber campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overall brand strategy.

Manage audience segmentation based on behavioral data (email engagement, website interactions, content downloads, etc.) to optimize lead nurturing workflows, converting leads into loyal customers.

Maintain and manage the email database, ensuring accuracy, segmentation by brand and market group, and adherence to global privacy standards (e.g. GDPR, etc.).

Analyze campaign performance, using insights to inform future campaign strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (creative, branding, content, GPLM) to coordinate email deployment, ensuring brand alignment and documenting business requirements with clear prioritization.

Stay current on industry trends and best practices, advocating for innovative email solutions and ensuring compliance with global privacy norms.

Additional responsibilities as assigned to support broader marketing initiatives.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field or comparable level of experience.Minimum 4 years of email marketing experience, including strategy, implementation, analytics and reporting.Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies.Proficiency in email best practices, including template design, dynamic content, segmentation, and A/B testing methodologies.Technical proficiency in HTML, Excel, and other in-house tools; ability to learn and adapt to new technical systems quickly.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to integrate data, insights, and intuition to inform strategic decisions.Strong organizational and project management skills, able to coordinate across cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and adapt to shifting priorities.Collaboration skills that enable effective partnerships across global teams and with leading agencies.

Salary Ranges:

$ 82,500 - $ 121,000
