**Now Hiring: Electro Mechanical Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician who can perform all job functions from sub-assembly to final test and acceptance of systems in final assembly. The ideal candidate will learn sub-assembly and ascend to the final assembly role. Working Hours: M-F First Shift 6:00AM - 3:00PM (Flexible Start time) Opportunity for OT weekly **Responsibilities** + Assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical capital equipment, sub-systems, mechanisms, and controls. + Work from assembly procedures, technical drawings, test procedures, specifications, data sheets, schematics, and wiring diagrams. + Set up and operate standard and specialized test equipment. + Conduct tests to determine the quality and reliability of systems. + Diagnose and correct malfunctions and make necessary adjustments. + Perform all other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, mechanical component drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic schematics. + Experience using general test equipment, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and troubleshooting personal computer hardware and software. + Experience in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical capital equipment. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Great interpersonal skills. + Self-starter and self-driven. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with tools such as multimeters, calipers, and wiring tools. + Knowledge of IPC standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California. **Apply Now for More Information OR send resume directly to vivgarcia @ aerotek.com** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
