Electrical Hardware Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

-\tDevelop, rework, and test PCBAs for use in True Anomaly space and ground hardware. 

-\tAssist in the design and manufacturing of space flight harness assemblies

-\tEnsure that all PCBAs and harness assemblies meet the technical and performance requirements of the mission. 

-\tCollaborate with our engineering team to develop and refine designs to optimize performance, manufacturability, and cost. 

-\tSupport development of assembly and test processes to ensure the quality and reliability of the PCBAs and harness assemblies. 

-\tTroubleshoot and debug PCBAs to identify and resolve any issues during the manufacturing and testing process. 

-\tSupport development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and test reports. 

-\tSupport the transition of PCBA designs and harnesses into high volume production. 

-\tRead, follow, and execute shop orders, hardware and test anomaly reports. 

QUALIFICATIONS

-\tMinimum 2 years of experience in electrical technician work for PCBAs and harnesses, preferred 4+ years experience in the PCBA process and working in the aerospace or defense industry

-\tDemonstrated experience with electrical hardware design and testing

-\tIn addition to standard solder irons, workers use various other production equipment including strippers, crimpers, hot plates, etc. 

-\tStrong understanding of applicable codes and standards

-\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills

-\tFamiliarity with MIL-STD-883 and NASA-STD-8739.4a standards · 

-\tFamiliarity with assembly processes, including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT), fine pitch BGA, and a working knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles. 

-\tFamiliarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers. 

-\tNASA J-STD Space Addendum or IPC soldering certifications
