A week in the life of an Electronics Technician:

Assemble and maintain electrical assemblies for testing and operating aircraft flight control systems. This includes soldering, wiring harness construction, and mechanical assembly. Operate and troubleshoot electronic test stations and equipment. Equipment includes multimeters, oscilloscopes, computer test stations, and a cockpit simulation stations. Maintain hardware configuration control and equipment inventory. This includes operating a configuration and inventory database as well as handling the material tracked by the database.
