In this position... 
We are seeking an Electronics Hardware Subsystem Technical Expert to provide specialized expertise in subsystem engineering for modules, sensors, and electrical interfaces. This individual must have extensive experience in detailed subsystem design and verification processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and electronic systems. This role requires a detailed, creative, and analytical thinker who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality system solutions.

You'll have... 
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical engineering. 
10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of experience in subsystem design and development.

Even better, you may have...
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
A team oriented individual able to guide and train other subsystem engineers and to work effectively across organizational boundaries. 
A passion for optimization of system function and proper confirmation of system function. 
Expertise in the function of complex automotive electronic system with detailed understanding of circuits, software and parameter definition/calibration. 
Proficiency in embedded network communications such as LIN, CAN or uART along with hands-on experience with CAN tools. 
Experience with multiple control systems and integration with electronics.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do...

Provide specialized expertise in the design, development, and verification of electronic hardware systems, including but not limited to Powertrain control modules, Body control modules, Displays, Clusters, Lighting, sensors, and auxiliary control modules. Develop and implement advanced subsystem engineering methods, including simulations and empirical work, to ensure optimal performance, cost optimization, quality, and energy efficiency. Collaborate with product design, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to seamlessly integrate subsystems into overall product designs. Conduct detailed testing and validation of subsystems to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and reliability. Work closely with core and commodity Technical Specialists to ensure cohesive subsystem integration. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance and expertise to engineering teams.
