Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Courtland AL, and be expected to work in the office.

What does this role look like?

• You will be involved in production support, development of Acceptance Test Procedures in support of console checkouts and hardware system test, short and long term resource planning, and regular communication of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) project status, supporting program reviews.



Your experience should include:

• Experience with hardware troubleshooting
• Familiar with other engineering processes, disciplines and Subject Matter Experts.
• Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, etc.).
• Experience assisting with as-built pedigree and quality documentation reviews.
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.
• Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
• Proficient in presentations and in written communication skills.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years professional experience; 0+ years with Masters degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Experience or courseware in electrical life-cycle, with experience in both design and/or test of electrical hardware.

• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Experience developing/designing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) For System Level Test.
• Experience performing HW/SW integration of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) For System Level Test.
• Experience with cable and board design and troubleshooting.
• Hardware/Software experience.
• Willingness to learn new environments, work independently in fast-paced development environment.
• Experience presenting and communicating effectively to a broad technical community.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
