You will also be responsible for the supplier monitoring during the PCBA development as part of the component change management process, leading the discussion with the vendors and being responsible of the Bill of Materials (BOM) by guaranteeing component stock is correctly forecasted and maintained together ith supply chain team.
As part of the PCBA qualification process, you will deal with the manufacturing plants to oversee the PCBA validation and ensuring part approval is completed satisfactory on time and target. Finally, support our SYPL team in discussions with the end customer will be required to present the qualification report for the new parts.
You will work as a team member in our electronics group, helping to build a promising technical center who supports projects and other divisions all over the world. Laboratory facilities are available in the workspace. Direct contact with the customer and mainly the suppliers. Electrical and hybrid vehicle environment.
Software, Hardware, System Test and PCBA Transversal team departments work and interact very often in a multi-location environment (Germany, Spain, Portugal, China).
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Component change management leader. (Time plan, meetings, coordination …)
Supply Chain/Vendors communication management
Components/PCBA samples procurement and coordination,
Stock and sourcing management for prototypes and development
Components list alternative management
Work with production to ensure design for manufacturing and test criteria are met
Interface as required with external development partners
Support meetings internally and with our customers to discuss test plans and test issues
Support Design Validation testing and support the plant in their Process Validation
Second source validation
Find and evaluate alternatives for components identified as Shortage or End of Life
Component integration Validation Plan and Report (PCBA level) -> Supported by HWTL
Support product delta validation plan and report
Support presentation / approval to customer if needed
