Your role:
Responsible for the design, check and optimization, realization and integration, life-cycle management, and verification of (elements and parts of) products, systems and/or solutions.Responsible for Requirements, Design, implementation, test and integration of the module/sub-system in accordance with the higher-level architectural Requirements and Design specifications which are easy to maintain, extendible (components and modules) and re-usableEnsures that the design is consistent with the higher-level architecture and requirementsEnsure that the proposed design would have the safety, reliability and quality features built-inEnsures the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the separate components in modular design that meets the product specificationEnsures that the design modules meet the product certification requirementsEnsures that the design meets the performance, quality and cost criteriaParticipate in Concept & Feasibility studies. Leads the introduction of new technologiesParticipate in Technical reviews and ensures that there is proper documentation as per applicable standards for the developed designWork on technical projects in Electrical and Electronics domainDevelops the work with focus on user and business requirements, compliance, quality and cost. Develops high level and detailed designs in accordance with the product requirements and Philips reference architecture requirements.Combines existing and/or purchased elements and parts into (elements of) products, systems and/or solutions.Finalizes the design and integration, and writes verification plans for the developed elements and parts. Tests, analyses, and verifies the quality of the design.Maintains an outside-in approach for the designs created.Analyze, design, develop, test and debug electronical sub-systems and associated parts in MR products.Responsible for end-end aspects of the Electronical System design including high-speed digital, power management, PCB layouts and thermal management. Coordinates and work with the Development Engineers in the design and implementation aspectsConnects and aligns with the Lead Designer / Senior Architect on technical, quality and costs aspectsCollaborates with firmware and software teams and support in defining and implementing high-performance electronical sub-systems in MR products. Works directly with Systems Architecture, Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Service Innovation teams to investigate and resolve product defects / customer complaints requiring technical acumenResponsible for delivering input in the planning process to the project manager.Connects and aligns with the Program Manager on project content, timeline and costs aspectsEnsures that documentation takes place according to the provided templates from the I2M processes.Is abreast of / participates in standards identification responsible for designingNetworks with colleagues within BU and beyond and maintains external contacts for benchmarking, new technologies, tooling, design methods, and reflects them to the HW-groupContributes to technology roadmaps and other strategic related activitiesDefines and assess the Work Breakdown Structure/ planning/ costs of his/her area.Draws up personal schedules and reports on progress in a structured and methodical way.Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts.Maintains product and company reputation by complying with country specific regulations

2. Skills-
End-of-life issues/Obsolescence and work on reliability of the products, design, develop and maintain MR Systems, Subsystems and Components. Sustaining Engineer, Install base management, Modularization.BOM/R&D/Service ProductivityKnowledge of state-of-the-art methods & tools (V&V/simulation/ Vitality/D&D) used in Electronical designExperience in Electronical design projectsExperience in Electronical design Hardware TestingAbility to understand and debug problems across hardware/software boundaries and should have knowledge of SW development (coding) /debugging on prototype hardware and changing requirements – added advantageExpertise in design techniques, application domain and engineeringExposure to International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE, CSA, BIS etc. will be preferredExperience in the field of Medical Devices product design e.g. CT, MR, X-Ray, Mammography systems etc. will be added advantage
3. Education- BE/BTech/ME/M.tech in Electrical and Electronics, Instrumentation
4. Anything else.
