Job Description

YOUR TASKS

In this role you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining audiovisual, electronic, and electro-mechanical equipment; maintain inventories of parts and equipment; provide technical assistance to equipment users; perform related work.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain audiovisual, electronic, electromechanical, and digital systems.Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.) to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.Repair and replace electronic components (transistors, capacitors, resistors, diodes).Design and fabricate precision electronic parts, control panels, and test devices.Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications for repairs and fabrication.Perform preventive maintenance and maintain detailed repair records for predictive maintenance.Integrate audiovisual components and troubleshoot micro-computer equipment.Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other departments.Follow all safety, environmental, and plant policies; forklift certification required.Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure equipment remains in top condition.Other Duties as Assigned – Support additional maintenance and operational tasks as required.

THE ENVIRONMENT

This includes safety wear such as steel toes, hearing protection, etc.The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noiseThe role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training providedMust be able to stand for long periods, frequently stoop, twist, bend, walk long distances, climb stairs/ladders, and lift 50 or more pounds occasionally.

 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

AAS Degree or Certificate in Electronics or related field, or a high school diploma/GED with completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience3+ years of electrical/electronic repair experience or equivalent of experience and school.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
