The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Air Dominance (AD), MQ-25 Advanced Team in Hazelwood, MO is looking to hire Electronic & Electrical Systems Design Engineers to lead the research, development, and integration of advanced Mission Systems capabilities into the MQ-25 air system. The MQ-25 Program is the future of autonomous aircraft carrier aviation for the US Navy!

The EE Systems Design Engineer will report to the MQ-25 Advanced Chief Engineer.  The successful candidate will be part of our MQ-25 Advanced Team, working across both hardware and software development and integration concepts aligned with MQ-25 program growth strategies.  The successful candidate will offer subject matter expertise (SME) across one or more of the following areas, and will collaborate with other SMEs to develop MQ-25 solutions across these areas:

Mission Systems Analysis and Integration Team (AIT)

Mission Systems Hardware / Software Development, Integration & Test

Mission Systems Lab Integration & Testing

Manned / Un-Manned Teaming (MUM-T)

Link-16 / Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT)

Line of Sight (LOS) / Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) Communications

Autonomy & Safety Certification

Trade Studies, Development & Test

Technical Readiness Level (TRL) Maturation

This dynamic role will work with empowered teams in a collaborative environment with other IPTs and the US Navy customer. 

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level EE Systems Design Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

Understand customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance

Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture

Integrates technical parameters and assures compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces

Collaborative technical execution of projects across program & capability teams

Technology Readiness Level (TRL) development and maturation plan execution

Resolve cross-functional technical issues

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

5+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s OR 3+ years of work related experience with a Master’s OR with a PhD

Experience with Mission Systems Hardware development, integration, test

Experience with Mission Systems Software development, integration, test

Experience working with multi-disciplined technical teams

Experience with systems engineering and integration of complex systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering

3+ years of engineering experience with autonomous aircraft platforms

3+ years of experience with advanced technologies research and development

3+ years of experience developing and integrating novel hardware and software systems

Typical Education/Experience: 

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for experienced (level 3): $96,050 - $129,950

Summary pay range for senior (level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
