Electromechanical Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** 3rd shift: 7pm -7am Week 1: 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on Week 2: 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off **Job Description** Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for coordinating repairs, adjustments, or maintenance of industrial production and processing machinery. This position performs more complex troubleshooting and repairs and ensures safe, clean, and efficient operations. **Responsibilities** + Complete process checks on specified quality forms and records. + Ensure all assigned equipment safety guarding is in place and all areas of the machine are clean, neat, and organized. + Document required repairs and maintenance tasks. + Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure set standards are achieved or exceeded. + Observe gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly. + Inspect equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. + Repair, clean, lubricate, or adjust machinery to optimally maintain the equipment. + Inspect, repair, or replace malfunctioning/broken machinery or equipment components. + Test equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair. + Examine parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage. + Perform changeovers and set-ups to equipment as required. + Work on different manufacturing equipment/processes due to a broader scope of knowledge of production equipment and do so with advanced troubleshooting skills. + Assist more junior technicians on diagnosing and repairing equipment. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance + Ability to operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs + Ability to analyze failures, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators + Ability to determine causes of operating errors and implement effective solutions + Ability to provide direction to other technicians for the resolution of escalated technical problems + Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods + Self-motivated and capable of identifying and completing tasks with minimal direction + Ability to quickly move hands, hands together with arms, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects + Ability to focus on a single source of sound in the presence of other distracting sounds + Ability to communicate in verbal and written English **Why Work Here?** Medical and dental benefits start the 1st day of the month following your start date. The candidate will work Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat one week, then Tues, Wed, Thurs the next week. Overtime is currently optional and can be signed up for after the completion of training within the first 60-90 days. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of New Holland, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
