Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting USSTRATCOM JEMSOC missions in order to provide the JEMSOC Director with Planning, Analysis, Spectrum Management, and Intelligence support. In addition, S4 employees will support Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for JCER to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations in order to accredit each Service\/United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).\n

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics engineering, with expertise in advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts. The EW Engineer will be responsible for applying experimental theories and new applications to complex issues, providing technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment. This role requires an individual who can effectively communicate technical information and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n\nApply advanced engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to project execution and advisory services.\n\n\nConduct assessments and evaluations to apply experimental theories and new applications to technical issues.\nProvide technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment.\nTest, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment.\nEnsure the effective application of engineering practices and procedures to sustainment, modification, logistics, and production management.\nDevise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for systems.\nAssess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes, and recommend improvements.\nCommunicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing.\nWork professionally with peers, management, contractors, academia, and other agencies to achieve project goals.\n\n
Required Experience:\n\nIn-depth knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment.\nExperience in conducting assessments and evaluations to apply experimental theories and provide technical advice for weapon systems and support equipment.\nKnowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment for testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation.\nUnderstanding of engineering practices and procedures related to sustainment, modification, logistics, and production management, including acquisition regulations and practices.\n\n
Desired Skills and Qualifications:\n\nAbility to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for systems, and assess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information accurately and clearly.\nProfessional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively with peers, management, contractors, academia, and other agencies.\nProfessional engineering degree (Bachelor's or higher) from an accredited institution in Electronics Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.\n\n
