In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. You will act as a material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at a specific site location. This is a 1st shift position working a 12-hour shift. Shift will be 7:00am - 7:00pm working a swing shift, 4 on/4 off RESPONSIBILITIES: * Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc. * Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. * Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry. * Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. * Troubleshoot conveyance problems and understand resources needed to resolve them. * Locate and track spare parts from inventory. * Performs complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications. * Provide assistance with training customers to operate equipment. * Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults. * Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them. * Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * HS diploma or equivalent required. OR * Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. * Specialized skill training/certification may be required. * 2 years maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment experience is preferred * ​​Experience with mechanical and some electrical knowledge of conveyor systems * Mechanical maintenance experience with some conveyor equipment experience is required as well as drives, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, and other related equipment. * Able to create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.​ * Must have the ability to connect a maintenance PC to a PLC and step through and understand the PLC program to troubleshoot complex controls failures and make minor code changes under the direction of Engineering. * Practice safe work habits and abide by the safety rules in accordance with the safety policies set forth by our client. * Work in cooperation as a team with the 3PL warehouse operators. * Walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
