Description:

Reviews and evaluates sales order requirements\\specifications to configure and\\or develop solutionsWorks with Sales and potentially the customer to resolve requirements Works with Electrical Engineers and Drafting to produce customer drawingsActs as the technical lead on assigned projectsWorks with internal groups such as Assembly, Procurement and field technicians during start up to resolve issuesWorks with Sales and Applications EngineeringApproves project release to ManufacturingWorks with Assembly and Test departments to resolve issues encountered during build\\test.Work as part of a project team to deliver cost effective, manufacturable designs Provide updates on project status and timeline

 MUST HAVES:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required5 plus years of experience with designing and developing and ducts in the electro mechanical products space5 plus years of experience with development, design and engineering of mechanical\\electrical systems using both 2Dand 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) 5 plus years of experience with OEM design activities using mechanical design software packages and 3D modeling software

NICE TO HAVES:

Knowledge of basic electrical concepts such as current carrying capability of conductors, ampacity, and electrical spacing requirementsElectrical testingCustomer experience Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseUnderstanding of seismic, wind and vibration calculations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.
