WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a skilled tradesman and focusing on building operations reactive and preventive maintenance, small project execution, energy management, client satisfaction, engineering staff supervision, training, subcontractor supervision, and budget controlAssist the Lead Building Operator in the formulation and implementation of the preventive maintenance program including scheduling of preventive maintenance with minimum disruption of building servicesAssist in creating purchasing specifications and competitive bid analysis relative to monitoring the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractorsAssist the Lead Building Operator in training and supervision aimed at expanding the capabilities of the engineering team. Specific duties include but are not limited to:Demonstrating the proper use and care of tools and instrumentsGiving “hands on” instruction in basic maintenance and trouble-shooting proceduresEvaluating job performance on an ongoing basisResponsible for site safety, including the issuance, inventory and compliance control of Personal Protective Equipment, consistent with OSHA regulations and Jones Lang LaSalle Team Safety PoliciesAdditional job duties as requested

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

High School diploma5+ years’ related work experience309 A Maintenance electrician with Interprovincial Red Seal CertificateWorking knowledge of computer applications including Word and ExcelDemonstrated proficiency with verbal/written communication skillsProven record of excellent internal and external customer serviceValid Driver's License (if driving is required as part of the job)
