A great mining company in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape is seeking the expertise of a talented Electrician to join their team of professionals. 

Responsibilities

Conduct electrical work which supports maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations of mechanical equipment as per planned and un-planned workorders Perform planned and un-planned maintenance activities in a timeous and cost effective manner to the correct standard Provide feedback to the Foreman on the execution of work for Continuous Improvement of work methods, tools, standardisation and planning Perform preliminary failure diagnostics on equipment failures in order to take remedial action Identify pro-active maintenance opportunities Create requests for spares and materials and interact with stores issuing personnel Perform periodic, scheduled Asset Health Checks Maintain housekeeping standards

Requirements

Grade 12 N4 Certificate in Electrical Engineering Electrical Trade Test Certificate 5 – 7 years’ experience in a plant or cement environment
