Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, inspecting systems for safety hazards, and maintaining organized workspaces. Candidates should have a basic understanding of electrical systems, proficiency with tools, and strong attention to detail and safety. A high school diploma is preferred, along with effective communication skills and the willingness to learn from experienced electricians. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment. + Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code (NEC). + Use various tools and equipment, such as power tools and testing devices. + Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist in diagnosing problems. + Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards. + Communicate issues, risks, or additional tasks to supervisors or licensed electricians. + Maintain clean and organized workspaces, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order. + Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear during work. + Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes. QUALIFICATIONS: + High school diploma or equivalent preferred** + Basic understanding of electrical systems and components. + Ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., ending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling. + Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. + Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced electricians. + Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical work. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes preferred** + Effective communication skills for working with team members and supervisors. + Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads. + OSHA Certified Preferred - CSE will provide training if needed!
