Electrical Technician
**Electrical Technician - Career Opportunity - San Diego, CA** **Job Description** + Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on naval vessels and other maritime equipment. **Responsibilities** + Installing electrical wiring, components, and equipment according to project specifications and marine electrical standards on vessels and other maritime equipment. + Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults on systems including power distribution, lighting, navigation equipment, communication systems, and propulsion systems. + Utilizing specialized tools to diagnose electrical issues, identify malfunctioning components, and perform preventative maintenance checks. + Interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately install and repair systems. + Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and relevant maritime regulations. + Maintaining detailed records of repairs, inspections, and system performance. **Work Environment** + Work will be performed at NASSCO shipyard supporting the new construction. **Job Type & Location** + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
