Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and lead project teams from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing project management, developing client relationships, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

ResponsibilitiesManage projects, including running point on proposals for clients and contributing to proposals for secondary markets.Oversee projects as the primary point of contact for the client.Engage with clients and lead project teams from kick-off to completion of construction.Formulate cohesive design solutions within scheduled timelines and project budgets.Develop client relationships through quality service and project delivery.Engage new clients at industry events to develop new business opportunities.Directly supervise the assigned design team, including mentoring and training team members.Ensure quality control for projects you oversee.Essential Skills5-15 years of experience in Electrical Design and Project Management with the ability to put together complete sets of biddable construction documents.Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain client relationships.Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.Experience in various project types and market sectors (municipal, educational, medical, federal, or other private market projects).Ability to multitask between different projects and adaptability to changing technologies, codes, and tools.Demonstrated passion for mentorship.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with complex Electrical systems.Experience with proposal writing and client development.LEED certified professional.Degree in Electrical Engineering.Licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of California.Work Environment

The role involves direct supervision of the assigned design team, mentoring and training team members, and ensuring quality control for projects you oversee. The schedule includes a minimum of three days in the office with flexible hours, including the possibility of half-day Fridays. You can expect to spend approximately 60% of your time in the office and 20-30% in the field. Projects are primarily located from San Diego to Santa Barbara, mostly in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, with some in Northern California. The culture is laid-back, with team members taking breaks together, participating in luncheons, lunch & learns, and in-office trainings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00
