We are assisting a leading main building contractor operating both in public and private sectors including data centre, commercial, fit-out, substations, biopharma, industrial warehousing, conservation, retail, residential, healthcare, and education projects. Due to continued growth, the company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Lead. As Electrical Lead you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems with a strong focus on high-performance design, energy efficiency, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Lead the design, development, and review of electrical systems.
Conduct technical reviews and calculations ensuring the electrical system is accurate and meets project specifications and standards.
Collaborate with contract managers, project managers, and other engineering leads to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within project scopes.
Oversee quality assurance and control for electrical designs and installations, from concept through construction, commissioning, and client handover.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, standards, health and safety, and best practices.
Participate in project planning, budget allocation, and resource management to achieve project milestones efficiently.
Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and results.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, communicating technical information and project progress effectively.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Significant experience in Electrical engineering with a focus on Data Centre projects.
Strong proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
