Electrical Foreman

Spark Power, a trusted partner in power in North America, is looking for an Electrical Foreman to lead our crews in Mississauga, ON. The Foreman is responsible for leading the crew and installing electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, for performing jobs safely plus efficiently, and for keeping customers and equipment running.

Here’s what you will do as an Electrical Foreman:

Demonstrating your commitment to safety in the workplace Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installationsDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problemInstalling conduit and wire and terminating conductorsInstalling fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systemsOrdering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer systemCompleting work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfactionLead and mentor Apprentices and Journeyman in a positive manner, promoting skills development and quality workmanship

Do you have the Spark? Here’s what we’re looking for:

A valid Provincial Certified Journeyman Electrician license5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in a commercial, institutional, industrial settingAt least 1 Year leadership experience in the Electrical trade with an ability to mentor Apprentices Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical CodeA valid C class driver’s license with a clean driving recordExcellent communications skillsSuperior problem-solving skillA desire for continuous improvement
