Electrical Engineering Intern

Under direct supervision, performs various tasks for the Curtiss‐Wright professional staff. May perform tasks that are administrative, analytical, mechanical, technical and/ or research based in nature. An Intern/Co‐op typically represents a college student trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Generally, the Intern/Co‐op program is three months long, however, this may vary by function.

We are looking for hard-working and highly motivated Electrical Engineering students for co-op positions. Our paid internship program gives students an opportunity to apply their skills while working on real-world projects. Previous students have found the Curtiss-Wright program to be a very valuable learning experience.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an Appropriate Engineering program at an accredited universityStrong creative, analytic, problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skillsStrong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS OfficeWillingness to learn, adapt and build experience in a development and production environment

Desired Skills:

Electrical/Hardware Engineer

Working knowledge of analog and digital circuitsWorking knowledge of radio frequency / wireless communications circuitsBasic electronic troubleshooting skills (DVM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generators)Schematic capture and PCB tool experience (preferred)FPGA development environment tool experience (preferred)

Responsibilities:

Function as a member of a development team to support new design concepts and technologies.Research new technologies, hardware, and concepts to help improve product developmentSupport prototypes and experimental setups. Document and report findings
