Electrical Engineer II
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesSummaryDesigns and develops electronic circuits for new and existing process control instruments, sensors and their test systems. Ensures that all documentation is generated and in place for Production and QC to build and test the product. Works closely with manufacturing engineering and/or sustaining engineering to resolve issues with current products. Works well in a dynamic, cross functional, team environment. Works as project engineer or technical lead on small scope projects, with supervision. Has gained exposure to some of the complex tasks including working with Software and Mechanical Engineers and other disciplines. Develops solutions to meet project requirements with focus on sensor and analyzer electronics. May work on products, which require FPGA design, including hardware description languages such as Verilog and VHDL. Begins working with regulatory compliance within a limited area of electronics. 
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConducts basic-to-intermediate level research related to new technologies, product applications, or new products.Generates schematics, bills of material, interface specifications and other documents for new designs, with minimal supervision.Works closely with printed circuit layout personnel to ensure design integrity.Works with software engineers to define hardware / firmware interfaces.Works closely with Manufacturing Engineering to insure DFMA.Qualifies and selects electrical and electro/mechanical components.Tests/debugs prototypes of new designs, verifying that specifications are met.Writes alpha/gamma test plans and reports.Provides technical expertise during beta testing.Works with manufacturing to resolve product and process issues.Works with manufacturing engineering to develop assembly procedures and QC test procedures for new designs.Insures regulatory compliance within own area of electronics design Works as technical lead on small scope projects, with supervisionEvaluates competitive products.Participates in intra-company teams such as Audit, Safety, Recreation, and others.Other duties may be assignedWhat You Need to SucceedEducation, Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering 3 – 7 years of experience designing electronic circuits.  Experience with Engineering change management (ECM)
