Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer. The role involves comprehensive testing of high voltage electrical products with IoT features or complex systems. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and execute test strategies, review requirements, and design and execute test cases. This position is on-site.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project managers, design engineers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.Review use cases, system, and product specifications to fully understand the system/solution requirements and translate them into test requirements and test plans.Create and execute detailed functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.Manage traceability between the test plan, test cases, automation sequences, and requirements.Report test progress and coverage to stakeholders.Document, report, and help solve defects, issues, and anomalies using a defect tracking system.Support the test bench development lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.3 years of experience in integration, verification, and validation of high voltage electrical products with IoT features or complex systems.Experience in electrical HW/FW testing, including test system design, test automation, test plan development, and debugging HW/FW issues.Proficient in using electrical testing equipment (AC/DC Power Supplies, Keysight CDS, Grid emulators, etc.), instrumentation, and software tools.Knowledge of EV communication standardsProficiency in systems engineering practices and working with tools like JAMA, Confluence, and JIRA.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the design and development of power electronics products for electric vehicles or V2X applications is a plus.Ability to work in dynamic, multi-time zone work environments.10% travel required.Work Environment

It involves working with electrical testing equipment, instrumentation, and software tools. The work environment is dynamic and may require collaboration across multiple time zones.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
