In Facilities Design, the Electrical Engineer, EIT produces electrical design related to new stores and special projects while relying on knowledge of building codes, specifications, lighting, and power design methods.

Additional responsibilities include: participating in the design and production of electrical engineering construction documents for new prototypes and site-specific projectsoverseeing the development of the electrical construction documents to meet Publix objectives and all national, state, and local code requirementsmodifying prototypical designs to meet site specific requirements, modifying prototypical Publix designs to adopt to a specific sitemodifying store drawings to meet retail requestsevaluating and completing revisions to construction drawings
