Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer Job Responsibilities + Perform feasibility analysis of new product development (NPD) projects. + Perform system design of new products, including FPGA design, schematic design, and layout. + Develop and implement FPGA designs using Xilinx and Verilog, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. + Create detailed schematic designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. + Oversee PCB layout design, ensuring efficient use of space and adherence to design specifications. + Assemble and lead a multi-disciplined development team. + Be responsible for the entire program, covering all aspects. + Interface with internal customers (Production, Quality, Procurement) to drive program requirements. + Establish, track, and drive program schedule and cost. + Report program status clearly and concisely to customers and management. + Motivate the development team, especially during long hours on late programs. + Transition new products to production efficiently. + Assist in initial product builds. + Establish a personal time management system. + Display a professional demeanor and dress when representing Bel to customers and suppliers. + Mentor engineers and technicians. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have: + BSEE + FPGA (Xilinx and Verilog strongly preferred) + Schematic design + Layout Nice to have: + OrCAD + Communications or fiber optics + C Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
