Electrical EngineerSoftware Engineer
KBR’s National Security Solutions Group (NTG) is seeking highly motivated software engineers to join our team's Beavercreek, Ohio office.
The ideal candidate will perform all activities associated with the design, development, implementation, maintenance, configuration management and quality control of software for scientific/engineering applications. Create prototypes and perform testing of software. Respond to and resolve software discrepancies against documented requirements. Determine software
maintainability and overall adherence to user requirements. Generate/update project documents. Candidate will codes, test, and debug software. Candidate will participate with engineers in the design, development, and utilization of scientific/engineering electronic data processing systems software.
Job Posting Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with team lead to define software requirements
- Design, develop and test system software for our customers
- Assist with maintenance of existing software
- Support office meetings and deliveries to our customers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
- Experience (professional or academic) with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using TypeScript
- Experience using Angular Framework
- Experience using Node.js
- Knowledge of RESTful API
- Knowledge of asynchronous development
- Experience with Relational Databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
Security Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain a US Top Secret/SCI Clearance
