Electrical Engineer
· Research, develop, and test electrical systems, electrical designs, electrical controls, technical solutions, software, and procedures.

· Modify existing designs, solutions, and software

· Writing manuals for design specs

· Support current and new designs for aircraft carrier parts, controls, and manuals

· Maintaining electrical system diagrams

· Provide technical solutions (paper products)

· Design new controls for CVN 80, 81, & 82 (new construction)

· Communicate with internal and external customers (NAVSEA, NAVY, and FLEET/Waterfront)

· Test ship products in lab to ensure work is correct

· Review submittals, drawings, and test results from vendors

· Write instruction manuals for how to use parts on carrier

· Make technical decisions on product reviews

· Support all functions on New Construction (CVN 80, 81, & 82) and Fleet Support (CVN 78 & 79)
