Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description The role of Electrical Engineer plays a key role in the successful execution of projects. You will serve as a technical expert, lead project engineer, and contribute to business development. Although the primary focus will be on educational facilities, municipal/civic facilities, and retail projects, you will also have the opportunity to work in various other industry sectors such as multifamily, commercial, and higher education. Responsibilities + Act as a project manager and electrical task leader on projects, leading the work of the project team. + Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by professionally and clearly communicating and managing expectations both externally and internally. + Contribute to a proactive, highly collaborative team environment through clear communication to all stakeholders. + Bring familiarity with the Minnesota Metro market, along with experience, contacts, and possibly clients. Essential Skills + Electrical engineering + Electrical design + Proficiency with Autodesk Revit + Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical + Experience in the building engineering industry + In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards + In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, and related technology + Advanced working knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certificate or diploma from a college, university, or technical/community college in a related area + At least 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Ability to identify different pieces of equipment for all disciplines and understand their function and use Work Environment This position offers a fully remote work environment and a very employee-centric work culture that allows for freedom and flexibility.
