Job Description
The primary role of the Sr. Electrical Engineer is to perform, lead, and develop various engineering design and technical analysis activities. This position requires advanced knowledge in the practical application of electrical engineering analysis/design and engineering standards, material specifications, pipeline equipment, fundamental system operations, regulatory requirements, procedures, and safe work practices. The Sr. Electrical Engineer is recognized as a leader within the refined petroleum products pipeline industry and must be able to mentor less experienced team members by delegating appropriate tasks, communicating expected results, and tracking the status of delegated work. This role involves working without oversight to complete assigned work, delegating tasks, providing coaching, and tracking the status of delegated work. The Sr. Electrical Engineer reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager and operates within a hybrid work environment, with 40% travel required (though typically 25%). The ideal candidate will be based in Alpharetta, GA, but candidates located along the pipeline from Houston, TX to NJ will also be considered.

Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Alpharetta, Georgia and some days remote.
Work Environment
Hybrid work model with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in-office and Wednesday, Friday virtual. 40% travel required, primarily for scheduled maintenance or emergency shutdowns. On-call availability required for nights and weekends. Troubleshooting mostly virtual unless a major emergency occurs. Field visits for scheduled maintenance events or outages. Booster sites and satellite offices located in Birmingham, Houston, Lake Charles, Alpharetta, and Atlanta.
