Electrical Engineer
Job Description: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing custom electrical drawings, PLC programming, safety PLC programming, wiring, and robotic programming. This role involves managing multiple electrical drawings and revisions for new and existing projects. Internal training is available, with opportunities to develop skills in robotics, welding, machining, design, R&D, or other areas of interest.

ResponsibilitiesManage multiple electrical drawings and revisions for new and existing projectsDesign electrical drawings for automation cells using SolidWorksProgram safety PLCs (Banner)Program robots (ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc)Program PLCs (Wago)Perform cabinet wiringCreate documentation packagesMaintain general knowledge of all aspects of the RBC processEssential Skills1-3+ years of experience in electrical engineering creating schematics or panel/cabinet designExperience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD designKnowledge of electrical engineering, electrical design, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, robot programming, PLC programming, and schematic designAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with robotics programming (Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa)PLC programming experienceKnowledge of high and low voltage systemsMechanical aptitudeMachining and welding skillsExperience with Banner Safety Logic and Banner ScannerAbout Actalent
