A multi-disciplinary engineering firm located in Chicago is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team!
Job Description:
Provide design leadership and expertise in applicable codes and standardsPrepare and supervise the preparation of contract documents including schematic design, design development, and final construction drawings and specificationsDeliver accurate and thorough code-compliant designs meeting industry standards within budget constraintsReview and carry out complex electrical technical studies and prepare high-caliber reportsProficiently handle construction processes and constructability issuesResolve site construction issues, attend site meetings, and perform site inspections during the construction phase of projectsReview internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice, and constructabilityPerform quality assurance and quality control tasks on projectsQualifications:
Accredited Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering3+ years of post-graduate experienceThis does not include internship experienceExperience must be within building design- Manufacturing, automation, or robotics backgrounds are not applicableProficiency in electrical design software including AutoCAD and RevitExperience in managing and leading a design teamProficiency with SKM or similar industry-acceptable short circuit analysis programProficiency with AGI32 or other industry-accepted photometric calculation programAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
