TOP Full Service Building Design Firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer, to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth, that gives the opportunity to work on some of the most complex projects across the US, as well as unlimited PTO policy. Job Description: + Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection, energy analysis, psychrometric, controls, fixture loading, pressure loss, ducts sizing, writing specifications, etc. + Effectively manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedules + Ability to utilize AutoCAD & Revit to complete drawings + Calculate power and lighting loads for new and existing building systems + Review local and national codes and perform code analyses + Design and life safety (fire alarm) systems + Select and design layout of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, electrical panels emergency generators UPS systems, and power distribution systems Qualifications: + Electrical Engineering Degree + 5-8 Years of experience doing electrical design for building systems such as power distribution, lighting, electrical panels, Generators... etc. + Experience utilizing AutoCAD MEP + Revit + Experience doing load calculation + Someone who has experience managing small-medium size projects Work Environment: + Office 4 days a week, remote on Fridays. + Team consists of 2 Architects, 6 Engineers, Principals, and Admin Staff (about 15-20 members).
