Job Title: MES Engineer
Job Description

As an MES Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions using Ignition. You will integrate these solutions with Rockwell Automation products such as Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk, and Siemens products. Your role will include maintaining the MES system to ensure its scalability, reliability, and performance, managing data collection and analysis within the framework, and developing user-friendly interfaces. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, create documentation, lead projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and operation.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement MES solutions using Ignition.Integrate MES solutions with Rockwell Automation and Siemens products.Develop and maintain MES system ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Manage and optimize data collection, storage, and analysis within the MES framework.Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for MES applications.Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to MES systems and integrations.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for MES solutions.Lead and manage MES development projects ensuring timely delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless MES integration.Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve MES solutions.Integrate MES solutions with ERP and EAM systems using Webservices.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Automation.5+ years of experience in Ignition MES development, implementation, testing, and commissioning.Proficiency in Ignition and GOLD Certification.Extensive experience with Rockwell Automation products (Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk).Experience with SQL databases and data management.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).Computer skills: AutoCAD Electrical, MS Project, Excel, Word.Excellent organizational, analytical, technical, problem-solving, research, and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in Python and JavaScript.Experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES).Work Environment

The position is onsite at the Brampton office with a shift from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering flexibility to start early or late. The role requires willingness and ability to travel across North America and Europe (15-30%), necessitating a visa or citizenship. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
