**How You’ll Make an Impact**
+ Increase the profile for Siemens Energy asa leader in providing motor driven turbocompressors
+ Attend and lead discussions with clientsfor rotating equipment proposals during pre-FEED, FEED, firm proposals, orproject discussions during execution
+ Create profit by managing multiplesuppliers for transformer, drive, and motor electrical drive systems andmitigating the risk of integration
+ Lead the technical strategy for theelectrical drive systems for motor driven compressor opportunities
+ Propose optimization of compressorselection with respect to best electrical drive system solution
+ Lead a team and attract talentedelectrical engineers within the Siemens Energy Compression division
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelors of Science Degree in anEngineering discipline or related field
+ Minimum 10 years of experience inelectrical systems: This includes experience in the areas of largeelectrical motors, variable speed drive systems and necessary auxiliarycomponents, e.g., transformers, medium voltage switchgear, synchronizingand protection units.
+ Market knowledge of rotating electricalmachines and associated components (e.g. frequency converters,transformers, cooling systems)
+ Knowledge of power system studies (e.g.sub-synchronous torsional interaction analysis)
+ Experience in leading the technicaldiscussion and personally designing solutions for integrating electricaldrive systems for turbocompressors into client electrical infrastructure
+ Extensive technological knowledge in thefield of complex electrical drive systems acknowledged by colleagues andother external experts in the field
