Job Description:? Detailed Product Knowledge of LV Switchgear products, its function and application. (e.g. MCB, Fuses, RCDs, DBs & relevant products.)? Knowledge of IS & IEC standards for electrical switchgear & mechanical assemblies e.g. IEC 60898, IEC 60947.? New Product Development: Leading in developing new products, brainstorming and creating ideas for new products as per requirements from product management. Making concept design, develop working prototype, conduct operational and type test, finalize design. Support to estimate product cost and development time plan to facilitate decision on product delivery. (Working on 3D models, understanding drawings, BOM, SAP, documentation)? Budget: Plan & monitor budget for test part of projects/topic specific tests and samples.? Design to Cost: Identify projects for cost reduction of existing products. Plan time & budget, Co-ordinate & implement DTC measures on products and its accessories to achieve PUMA - MCP target. Track plan vs actual. ? Continuous improvement of product design: Based on customer feedback/complaints, changing market requirement, competition, product upgradation, variant addition, production/material changes and process requirements make necessary product changes.? Product Localization projects: Being a part of project team as electrical developer define relevant activities at various stages of project. Plan budget and resources to get planned activities done in time. Monitor plan vs actual. This also includes product certifications and sample building as part of project.? Product Documentation: Plan, carry out different tests and generate/derive necessary technical data requested in RS, align this data and publish as necessary in form of PMD, Certificates, Declarations etc.? Local test lab: Support local test lab in understanding and executing new or customized tests as necessary.? Sustainability: Identify and implement measures for sustainability / environmental topics related to products.? Support during handling of internal & external audits, ISO, Factory Inspections. (Documentation, processes)? Predevelopment activities: To explore new opportunities of products/improvements along with CFT.? Technologies: Basic knowledge of manufacturing process of Press parts, Plastic molded parts, Basic knowledge of raw material (Ferrous / Non-ferrous / Plastic) ? Process & Methodologies: PLM process, Lean Methods, Kanban, FMEA, Risk Analysis, RCA etc…? Software Tools: CADIM, Teamcenter, NX, Creo, MS Office, AutoCAD (Finite Element Simulation will be added advantage)
