Job Description
The successful candidate will focus on 2D Electrical AutoCAD designs for relay panels and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This role requires a strong understanding of specifications and customizations for various relay panels. Initially, the main focus will be on electrical design, with potential involvement in software programming in the future.
This is a contract position to provide immediate support in the area of 2D Electrical design. This contract will be around 2 months in duration.
ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D electrical CAD designs for relay panels and PLCs.Interpret and apply specifications for custom relay panel designs.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements.Develop and maintain documentation for electrical designs.Conduct reviews and revisions of designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues.Prepare and maintain data sheets for electrical components and systems.Ensure data sheets are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.Stay current with advancements in electrical design and CAD software.Essential SkillsProven experience in electrical CAD design, particularly with relay panels and PLCs.Proficiency in 2D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN).Strong understanding of electrical specifications and customization processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in hardware design.Knowledge of PLC design.Ability to work with various teams and customers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
