Job Description
Seeking a passionate and experienced Sr Level Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team located in Clearwater, FL. We are a Woman-owned, UL 508a listed Control Panel shop that offers custom 'Turn-Key' products and services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering experience in the Manufacturing/Electrical industry, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. This role is primarily responsible for architecting, designing, and commissioning state-of-the-art automation control systems that seamlessly integrate into complex industrial environments which comply with UL 508a standards.
ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design, and commission state-of-the-art automation control systems.Ensure all designs comply with UL 508a standards.Program PLCs and perform HMI programming.Conduct root cause analysis and project estimation.Design controls and perform electrical design tasks.Use AutoCAD for designing and documentation.Develop firmware and logic controllers.Perform electrical diagnostics and prioritize tasks efficiently.Fabricate automation components and relay designs.Self-educate and rehab a wide variety of machines.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation control systems.Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols, HMI, Root Cause Analysis, and AutoCAD.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment.Strong understanding of system design principles.Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Additional Skills & QualificationsPlant experience is a plus.Proficiency in fabricating automation components.Knowledge of relay design.AutoCAD: 3 years (Preferred).Project Management: 7 years (Required).Electrical Design: 7 years (Required).Project Estimation: 7 years (Required).Electrical estimating: 1 year (Preferred).Electrical engineering: 4 years (Preferred).PLC Programming: 2 years (Preferred).Electrical/Controls Design: 4 years (Preferred).Work Environment
Willingness to travel is required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
