Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing designs from initial proposal to the final engineering package. You will utilize AutoCAD to create wiring diagrams and enclosure layouts, perform basic electrical component calculations, research components, and create Bills of Materials for your designs. Additionally, you will review customer specification documents to ensure compliance and assist the applications engineer in generating proposals. Responsibilities + Develop designs from proposal stage to final engineering package + Create wiring diagrams and enclosure layouts using AutoCAD + Perform basic electrical component calculations for panel design + Research components and create Bills of Materials + Review customer specification documents to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards + Assist applications engineer in generating proposals Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering + Experience with AutoCAD or Draftsight + Electrical engineering knowledge + Electrical design and schematic creation Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with electrical assembly preferred + Experience being measured against monthly goals + Strong Microsoft Office proficiency + Desire for continuous improvement + Familiarity with burner management systems (a plus) + Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications + Good communication skills + Good time management skills + Self-starting and driven attitude + Pride in workmanship Work Environment Our work environment includes a comprehensive benefits package with 401(k) and matching, health insurance, health savings account, vision insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and potential for quarterly bonuses.
